DALLASFAIRPARKARTDECOFOREVER Pricing
When I moved from Egypt to Dallas in 1972 I fell in love with Fair Park. It was a substitute Egyptian archaeological haunt, the big open architectural space, huge stone figures saturated with history and silence in the heart of a busy city. There were columns, arcades and old color on murals and sudden changes of light from under a portico to sun-filled walkway. Being there is being special. I explored the park at different times of the year and different times of the day, always with camera and tripod. Last year when Quimby McCoy Architects commissioned me to photograph the restoration, I was at home. I hope you will take a look. Great things have happened since 1972! In fact great things have happened since 1936.
